What we collect and why. When you send an enquiry we process the data you type in — name, phone or WhatsApp number, e-mail, dates, delivery location, chosen car and, if you give it, a flight number. We use it to answer the enquiry, check availability and prepare the rental offer and contract. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Nothing else is done with it — no newsletters, no profiling, no sale of data.
Where it goes. Enquiries reach us by e-mail and, if you write to us there, on WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland). The website is hosted on Cloudflare. If you ask us to reply on WhatsApp, the conversation is subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not transfer your data to anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it. Enquiries that do not become a rental are deleted after 12 months. Rental contracts and invoices are kept for the period Croatian accounting and tax law requires (currently 11 years). Deposit records are kept with the rental contract.
Cookies and measurement. Nothing but strictly necessary cookies is set until you choose. Analytics and advertising tags (Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion measurement) load only after you actively accept them in the cookie banner — declining, or not choosing at all, means they never load. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer, and withdrawing turns measurement off and clears its cookies immediately. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Your rights. You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to the contact above; we answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.
This notice is dated 2 September 2026. If we change how we process data, the new version is published here with a new date.
